Brand Challenge

For the 2020 brand challenge, IBM and Effie will invite college students across the U.S. to develop a non-traditional integrated marketing campaign focused on IBM and The Weather Channel app, the world's most downloaded weather app. The campaign should drive relevance for the IBM brand and showcase the interesting and surprising ways that IBM and The Weather Channel (an IBM Business) affect consumers' daily lives.

JUDGING PROCESS

Judges include marketing and advertising professionals, spanning across various disciplines from client, agency, and media companies.

Judges evaluate your written case and creative examples. Entries are scored anonymously and confidentially. As each entry is reviewed, judges provide constructive feedback that is later provided to qualifying entrants and their professors, if applicable.

The two finalists selected to present in front of the IBM brand team will have succeeded through multiple rounds of evaluation.  For more details on the judging process, review the Entry Kit.
